"It is true that the task of evangelism is a vital one, but we must not take our eye off the great tragedy of those who leave the Church. I believe there is something very special about this project and I am thrilled that it has begun"

Prodigal Testimony - 23

I was at a ‘Bringing Home the Prodigals’ event and found it extremely helpful. It softened my heart towards my son, otherwise I might have asked him to look for digs because of his smoking, drinking and the stuff he looks up on the internet. If we do not love and care for him, even though he is 24 years of age, there is no-one else.

The message really spoke to me that night. My husband and I have no parents or other family to pray for Craig, and he is not interested in God at all now, though at one time he helped run the youth club at church. He is a loner and does not have many friends and I just feel he misses so much. My husband is a converted alcoholic and, coming from a teetotal background, I found it hard to take the fact that Craig wandered away and started on the drink, etc.

Your prayers would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
